Trigonometry

A big word that could be hard to pronounce, right? Well, guess what... trig is nothing but a field of mathematics that was found in the 3rd century BC and is used to study the relationships of lengths and angles of triangles. Trig is actually used for various applications; from the day to day calculations to astronomical studies.

Still confused? Don't worry it's not as bad or hard as it sounds.

One aspect of trigonometry is right angle triangles. Ever heard of the SOH-CAH-TOA rule. This is one of the rules that's really helpful and easy to remember.

I know the SOH-CAH-TOA rule helped me throughout my academic life because it was easy to remember and had all the rules I needed to know when dealing with sine, cosine, and tangent of angles.

Ever tried using the above rule in your academic career? Did you find it helpful and easy to remember?
